MEET THE TEAM

Mike Brown

Founder, GrindHouse Media
Host, The House of Grind

Mike is the heart of GrindHouse Media and the voice driving The House of Grind. A father, lifelong sports fan, and 20+ year sales professional, he created GrindHouse after watching his son Micah grind without the spotlight he deserved. His mission is to give hardworking high school and youth athletes the exposure, respect, and storytelling they’ve earned—on and off the field.

Janelle Andou

Co-Founder • Director of Partnerships & Operations

Janelle ensures GrindHouse operates at a championship level. As a mother of two sons who wrestled but didn’t get the spotlight they deserved, she understands the grind in a way only a sports parent can — the discipline, the tough seasons, the constant work, and the pressure to be seen. With years of sales experience, leadership, and relationship building behind her, she leads the sponsorship outreach, business follow-ups, and partnership development with the heart of a parent and the mindset of a professional. That experience fuels her passion for helping overlooked athletes get the recognition they’ve earned.

Alex “Uncle Lo Lo” Washington

Division Director • On-Air Personality & Athlete Relations

Uncle Lo Lo is the heartbeat of the House. As Division Director, he’s the on-the-ground connection with athletes, families, and teams across the region. On the mic, he brings authenticity, humor, and big-brother energy that makes every athlete feel comfortable. In the field, he helps introduce GrindHouse to new programs, sponsors, and communities that live the “Hard Work Lives Here” standard.
